My Final Parting Words to You…
“Have You Seen That Movie Interstellar?”
Let me explain. In the 2014 Matthew McConaughey space hit Interstellar, the hunky astronaut decides to leave his small children to find another planet that humans could live on with his team. So our species will survive.
In the movie, time works differently on one of the planets they visit because of its proximity to a black hole.
For every hour they spend on this planet, SEVEN YEARS will have passed on Earth (where Matty’s young kids are).
So, they only plan to be there for 15 minutes. But… something goes wrong.
And by the time they make it off the planet, they discover 23 YEARS have passed.
Which is when he sits down to watch videos his children have been sending him, without response, for decades.
He’s sobbing. (I’m sobbing too, by the way.)
